Two National “863” Projects Undertook by CHMTI and Chongqing University Passed the In-process Inspection
Two national “863” projects, “Intelligent Key Technology of Gear Producing Machine and Smart Hobbing Machine” and “Key Technology and Equipment of High-speed Dry Roll Cutting Process”, which are undertook by Chongqing University and Chongqing Machine Tool Group Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter CHMTI), had the in-process inspection at CHMTI on 1 November 2013. The inspection panel mainly consisted of Cheng Guangyu, the section chief of the general office of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Chen Zhili, the section chief of High-tech Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Wang Liping, the researcher of Tsing Hua University, Meng Guang, the professor of Shanghai Astronautics Bureau, Qiu Cheng, the researcher of China Productivity Center for Machinery, and Liu Tong, the professor of Southwest University of Science and Technology.
The subject of “Intelligent Key Technology of Gear Producing Machine and Smart Hobbing Machine” aim at meeting the urgent demand of high-end intelligent gear producing machine tool used in autos, shipping, engineering machinery, aviation, aerospace and power equipment industries, also taking the lead in researching and developing intelligent packaged technology of gear producing machine tool. The object of “Key Technology and Equipment of High-speed Dry Roll Cutting Process” aim for the revelation of high-speed dry cutting process principle, as well as for the breakthrough of some key technologies in terms of high-speed dry cutting lathe, main shaft, workbench, tool, and the optimization of process parameters. To research and develop seven axis four linkages green high-speed dry cutting machine tool with proprietary intellectual property rights, to achieve 2-3 times improvement of production efficiency, 20% energy saving, cutting oil completely elimination, and to meet the needs of green manufacturing.
In accordance with the project plan strictly, CHMTI and Chongqing University jointly set up the research team and carried out the work in compliance with relevant regulations and responsibility systems, and they had broken a number of key technologies.
The panel made an on-site visit and put forward several valuable suggestions on the research achievements and the project progress. Two National "863" Projects passed the in-process inspection.
